Semester-Based Enrollment:

Sova Learning Academy operates on a semester basis, with enrollment periods running from September to December and January to May.

Priority Enrollment for Current Families:

Current Sova Learning Academy students receive exclusive priority registration for the upcoming semester. This ensures our existing families have the first opportunity to secure their child's spot before open enrollment begins for new students. Siblings of current students also receive early registration access and priority placement on any waitlists.

Sibling Discount & Charter School Vendor:

We offer a sibling discount to help make quality education more affordable for families. Sova Learning Academy is also a vendor with many Charter Schools, which may provide additional tuition support for your child. Contact us to learn more about how we can help offset your tuition costs.

Included in Tuition:

Your tuition covers all necessary school supplies and nutritious morning and afternoon snacks. No need to shop for supplies or send in tissues – we've got you covered! We provide a variety of healthy snack options during recess and between elective classes.

Lunch and Supplemental Snacks:

Students should bring their own lunch from home. While we provide morning and afternoon snacks, students are welcome to bring additional snacks to supplement as needed.

Nut-Free Environment:

Due to severe student allergies, Sova Learning Academy is a nut-free facility. Please ensure all lunches and supplemental snacks are free of nuts and nut products.

Parent Involvement

Parent Participation Opportunities

Parent involvement is a vital part of our co-op inspired enrichment program. We offer several ways for families to contribute and enhance the learning experience for all students.

Musical Theatre Program:

Families with children enrolled in our after-school Musical Theatre Program contribute 3-4 hours per semester. Opportunities include ushering, ticketing, bake sales, cleanup, set tear-down, backstage assistance, and more. A $100 buy-out option is available for families unable to meet the time commitment, as we will need to hire additional support for the production.

Field Trip Fridays:

Participation in Field Trip Fridays requires parents/guardians to be live-scanned (fee included in tuition) and drive/chaperone a small group of students one Friday per month. More details about Field Trip Friday responsibilities will be shared at our orientation night.

Summary of Parent Responsibilities:

  • Academic Parents: Optional
  • Elective Parents: Optional
  • Field Trip Parents: 3-4 Fridays per semester + live scan
  • Musical Theatre Parents: 3-4 hours per semester + bake sale item

Refund Policy

Registration Fee Refund Policy:

The registration fee is non-refundable.

Tuition Refund Policy:

Tuition refunds are handled as follows:

  • Monthly Payments: If you withdraw your child mid-semester and are paying tuition monthly, you are responsible for paying for the final month your child attended. There will be no refunds for prior months.
  • Semester Payments: If you withdraw your child mid-semester and have paid tuition for the entire semester, you will receive a refund for any unused months.
