Our Academic Days, held every Monday and Friday or Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, provide a robust, structured foundation for our students. We utilize a high-quality, Charter-approved curriculum to ensure that all core subjects are covered with excellence, meeting both academic standards and the unique needs of our community.

Supporting Your Journey at Home
We believe in empowering parents with the right tools to support their child’s learning at home. To keep your records organized and your student on track, we provide a Completed Work Folder every Thursday or Friday. This folder contains curated samples of your student’s work from each subject, which you may submit to your Charter Teacher as evidence of learning or keep for your personal portfolio.

Additionally, we provide supplemental practice pages directly from our curriculum. These are provided to reinforce the specific lessons learned in class, giving students the extra practice they need to master new concepts at their own pace. Should your student be absent, we also include any missed assignments in your Thursday or Friday folder to ensure they have exactly what they need to stay current with their studies.

Our Approach to Homework
We believe that learning happens best when students have time to decompress and pursue their own interests after school hours. Because of this, we do not assign traditional homework. Instead, we highly recommend that students spend at least 20 minutes each day reading with a parent or guardian. This simple, consistent practice is the most effective way to foster a lifelong love of literacy and academic success.
